Proper nutrition is critical to family health. From the point at which a woman is planning to concieve all the way through pregnancy, into the infant’s first year of life and developing habits as a toddler, focus on nutrition early sets the course for a lifetime of healthy eating.
Our educational series on optimal nutrition practices has kicked off in 2010 with a spotlight on babies and toddlers. Classes are geared to demonstrate to everyone involved in the upbringing of the child – mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors – what and how to prepare to ensure that child is transitioning to healthy solid food eating patterns.
A “Nutrition Matters for Toddlers” class is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2010. Click here for a printable flyer with all the details on how you can participate!
